February 9, 2008

Following the Potluck lunch, we plan to feature a choice of activities led by our members. Some of these are discussions about yarn twist and how it affects twill weaves, demonstrations of some computer programs for weaving, demos of "What We Learned at NEWS" (from two classes - Jason Collingwood's twill rug weaving, and Catharine Ellis' woven Shibori), and knitting toe-up socks. We'll also have a yarn exchange, and we still have items from September's silent auction to sell for a donation to the guild.

In addition, we are including a question and answer period.  If people have any questions regarding weaving that they would like to put out to the guild, please send them to Toby Goldsmith.
